Boiled Snow Crab Legs
1. Thaw the crab legs.
Put them in the fridge overnight, or run cold water over them for 20–30 minutes.
2. Fill a large pot with water.
Add enough water to fully cover the crab legs.
3. Season the water.
Add Old Bay, salt, lemon halves, garlic, and a little butter if you want extra flavor.
4. Bring the water to a rolling boil.
5. Add the snow crab legs.
Carefully place them into the boiling water.
6. Boil for 4–6 minutes.
Snow crab legs are already cooked, so you’re just heating them through. If they’re still frozen, boil for 6–8 minutes.
7. Remove and drain.
Use tongs to pull them out and let the water drain off.
8. Serve with melted butter.
Crack the shells, pull out the meat, and dip in garlic lemon butter.
